Healthy living.  What does that mean to you?  Most of our society thinks this is some sort of an arduous task of calorie counting and getting up at 4:30 am every day to go to “boot camp” to put yourself through misery when you should be sleeping another hour or two.  Miss a workout?  No problem! Work out extra long and hard tomorrow to make up for it.  Do this for several weeks, maybe several months, then most people are right back into their own habits.  Man, this healthy living thing is too difficult and over rated.  I give up!

What if there was a way to live healthy in a way we were designed to that required much less effort than what conventional belief tells us? One that incorporated a more rounded approach to life that includes delicious foods, fun and play, sleeping in and overall enjoying being alive.

Well, this is possible.  Welcome to Primal Living.  Continue to follow my posts for more discussion on this topic.

Hello and thanks for visiting my site. My name is Ryan Parnham and I'm a 37 year old husband and father of two from central Illinois (hope I haven't bored you yet). The reason I started this site is because I have a passion and desire to live the BEST life possible, and I want to share my thoughts and experiences with other people so they can educate themselves and change things in their lives to live the best life possible as well. I strongly believe that nutrition is one of, if not the biggest, factor in health, vitality and longevity. I feel I have a bit of a unique perspective on things given my professional and personal back ground. I have an undergraduate degree in nursing as well as a master's of science degree in nursing and am a board certified family nurse practitioner from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). I have been in the medical field for over 15 years now
